As many as 7,000 temporary jobs are about to become available in the metro area as warehouses like GSI Commerce, Amazon and Zappos staff up for the holidays.
GSI alone is expected to hire 3,000, Mayor Greg Fischer is expected to announce this morning during a press conference at the company’s Riverport warehouse.
GSI handles online orders for retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods.
