Responding to our customers’ desire for convenience, our eBay Now mobile app now connects shoppers with hundreds of local retailers in New York City, delivering items from store to door in most parts of Manhattan, often in under an hour. Last month, we launched this local shopping service in San Francisco. Today, just in time for the holidays, we are extending it to shoppers in Manhattan – as far north as 125th Street – and the western edge of Brooklyn.
eBay Now combines our cutting-edge mobile technology and our partnerships with retailers. This is game-changing innovation – a perfect example of the blended world of online and offline shopping.
With our eBay Now mobile app, shoppers can order products from hundreds of local stores, including Macy’s, Toys
R Us, Target and Best Buy, and seamlessly pay using PayPal or a credit card upon delivery. With a few taps on a smartphone or tablet, shoppers can complete their holiday shopping and have their purchases delivered directly to them, without having to brace the cold or crowds.
At eBay, we believe that the holiday season should be about spending time with family and friends. By delivering items to shoppers, wherever they are, eBay Now puts convenience and time back into the holiday season. And we also make last-minute gift-buying easier than ever before.
